Dr. Yasmin Abdel Latif Mahmoud Abdel Maguid is a doctoral trained pharmacist and a visiting scholar from Cairo, Egypt. She recently participated in the MEZCOPH Global Health Training Program in Clinical Trials at the University of Arizona Collaboratory for Metabolic Disease Prevention and Treatment.

She received her Master’s and PhD from faculty of Pharmacy, Suez Canal University in Ismaileya, Egypt and is currently a Researcher in the Medical Biochemistry Department, Medical Research Division, National Research Centre.

During her training at the Collaboratory, Dr. Khalil was mentored and trained in clinical trials research by CRCPHP faculty. She also met with a diverse group of UA researchers including faculty at the UA Cancer Center; College of Nursing; College of Medicine and the College of Pharmacy. Yasmin enjoyed all aspects of her UA Global Health Institutes Training. She looks forward to sharing her UA training knowledge in clinical trials and ethics with her colleagues in Egypt.
