March is Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month

This year, it is estimated that more than 16,000 Hispanic men and women will be diagnosed with colorectal cancer in the United States. Detecting cancer early - before it has spread - increases likelihood of survival. Currently, the American Cancer Society recommends regular screening starting at age 45 through stool tests or visual exams (e.g., colonoscopy). Talk to a doctor to determine which test is right for you!
