Growing Girls and Guys After-School Mentorship & Education (GAME) returned for the spring semester in January 2023 at Estes and Quail Run Elementary Schools. This semester, fifth and sixth grade students will learn about media and gender, body image, development and puberty, self-care, and planning for the future. Perhaps the most exciting part of spring is our annual field trip to the University of Arizona! In March, students will explore campus by visiting academic departments, talk to Group Leaders about college, and compete in a fun photo scavenger hunt.
As a taxpayer, you can make a difference in the community by donating your public school tax credit to local schools in need, like Rivera Elementary! For more information or to donate, please call the number below or visit public.susd12.org.

This year, it is estimated that more than 16,000 Hispanic men and women will be diagnosed with colorectal cancer in the United States. Detecting cancer early - before it has spread - increases likelihood of survival. Currently, the American Cancer Society recommends regular screening starting at age 45 through stool tests or visual exams (e.g., colonoscopy). Talk to a doctor to determine which test is right for you!
The summer of 2022 will mark the 10th year of Healthy 2B Me summer camp for kids! Beginning in 2013, ZFCPHP staff and students created this health-themed camp to educate and empower young people in Southern Arizona. Our blend of educational tools and interactive activities has truly made this a unique camp experience for campers and camp staff.
